The Traps of Intellectualism

The Traps of Intellectualism

Ecumenism, inclusion, relativism, absolutism, rationality, complexity, plurality, ambiguity, ambivalence, paradoxality, duality, tragedy, aporia, simplicity, nihilism, practicality, perspective, democracy, justice, freedom, equality, equity, dignity, acknowledgement, affirmation, actualisation, political, economic, ecological, civil, policymaking, opinionation, rationality, reasonableness, analysis, accessibility, tolerance, ethos, dogmatism, stereotypical, stigmatise, demonisation,  annihilation, reflection, perceptions, poverty, unemployment, inequality, violence, social pathology, state capture, corruption...These are "efforts" in intellectualism to define, re-define, identify, re-identify, argue and postulate various new meanings for common good and bad,  which have left society more Fractionalised through the aforementioned concepts and terms...marginalising the masses from understanding where real change is, because intellectualism has mystified the two simple life experiences of truth and falsehood. Everything under intellectualism,  become theories and the simple good practices vanish from the hearts and hands and are being replaced by mental constructs...stuck in the mind, creating the modern theoretical life, called academia, which give rise to modern and post-modern schools and universities that trap the most powerful energies of societies, the youth, into a sea of confusion that has lead to individual loneliness that increases stress and fragments families and communities that are now dependent on technology and artificial intelligence to help them become like augmented "humanoids" who lost their spirit of communication and energy for simple good work to help each other. Help now depends on certifications, not pure abilities and eagerness. Trust is now questioned if there is no state, institutionalised accreditation. Good work is now in the field of doubt, leaving families, neighbours and friends incapable of valuing each other's good intentions and work. The obvious has become vague and the truth is now re-defined as intangible and thus open for criticism.  The ability to criticise has now become the intellectual standard of communication, causing stagnation of the people, who become gullable to be led by pseudo science, media and political trickery. We find ourselves now, more than ever in intellectual arguments for the Ph.D race, to feed our own personal egos at the expense of family connections and enormous financial strains. The intellectuals now, because of their ability to understand and use the introductory, aforementioned jargon and ego-worship, indentify themselves as the "informed" and even "spiritual elite"...based on physical evidence, housed in footnotes, without spiritual enlightenment....   My "Thought Gymnastics for 2020 and Beyond"..after reading the Afterword by Prof.Nico Koopman to the book of Prof Aslam Fataar "Searching for the Islamic Ethical Agency"...published 2019...
